Can You Smell What The Block Is Cooking?

May 3, 2008

Like it or not, it’s happening: the next six to eight months of your pop life will be utterly consumed by New Kids On The Block (or “The Block,” as Donnie Wahlberg is fond of calling them these days). The Today Show appearance and interviews on Boston’s Kiss 108 and New York’s Z100 were only the beginning.

On the horizon: big time performances for Today, Kiss and Z100 in May, then a brand-spanking new album, an arena (arena!) tour and several friends of yours who you never thought would have been into the Boston boys losing control of their motor skills at the mere mention of their comeback. Or actually, that’s probably you on the ground drooling right now. Don’t front.
